« on: June 11, 2003, 03:35:07 PM »
I search on Chamberlain and in Outlook and it say there are no matches in the address book, I check the messagae log which appears to show it is working, see below.  I check the user account and there is Account=chambo Username=Steve Chamberlain Last name=Chamberlain

Any ideas of what is going on?

"err=32" is a permissions problem according to:

http://www.openldap.org/lists/openldap-software/200004/msg00010.html

Report the problem to smebugs@mitel.com and this issue will be investigated.

William,

Try enabling 'simple search filter' under the advanced settings of the account you set up in address book.
I had the same results as you and found if I searched on the full name eg Steve Chamberlain then I got a result. When I set 'simple search filter' on, I was able to search on first name , email etc.
