I have setup my work email server (exchange) to re-direct emails to james.away@workdomain.com to my home server (sme 5.6) james.away@homedomain.com which in principle is working. The workserver sends it with a to: james.away@workdomain.com but with a for: james.away@homedomain.com.
My sme server collects the mail from my isp via POP3 and redistributes locally. So the only way I can get it (to my knowlege) to distribute the emails from the work server is to setup a virtual domain of workdomain.com on the sme box and the mail gets delivered to the correct person with the alias, but now if you try to send an email to *@workdomain.com it trys to deliver locally.
Is there any way to get round this?
