My isp recently changed the service he was reselling. My sme56 box of many months stable operation will no longer connect. my account details at the isp didnt change but the user name changed from user@someservice.net to user@someotherservice.net.
I made this change and I get in var log
>Remote message: $All is wellAll is wellRequest Denied
> CHAP authentication failed.
Trouble my isp says he is using PAP. I have tried turning off chap to no avail. I have freshly built a 56 update 4 box this morining and this one gives exactly the same messages.
My windoze laptop connects everytime!
I figure that I need to include the All is well in the chap secrets? ??
Any insights greatly appreciated
