Just one other small thing you may wish to note:
If IE is loading a page where it thinks the contents *may* possibly be contained on a local or network drive, then it will do a full drive read/refresh (some akin to you opening up 'My Computer').
This usually isn't too much of a hassle but it can cause annoying delays if there's a slow drive (such as the 'wrm-up' time for a CD-ROM drive).
If you're prefixing all of you URLs with the correct protocol (eg. 'http://') then this usually avoids the above mentioned 'problem'.
