Please help

at work we have a sme server 5.5 installed with sarge
could somebody give me some tips on removing an entry in the logs which record
how much was downloaded from a particular ip address where it was downloaded from and when

Any help would be great

PS I know @!#$ about sme server or linux in general
but any help in this matter will get me out of the @!#$!!!
