Hi, i am trying to install the 3com 3cce589et onto my sme server which is being run on an oldish laptop. I coudn't see any drivers in the sme driver list that would work with this card. Does anybody know if any of the drivers work?
But i also went searching for drivers and all i could find was "http://rpmseek.com/rpm-pl/3c5x9setup.html?hl=com&cbn=0:-:0::" which i have downloaded and put onto cd, i then installed off the cd using the command line.
But once i've done that im not sure where to go from there, the driver is not in the driver list so i presume that i have to run something from that rpm package???
I have thought about buying another card, one that is already in the driver list but my laptop doesn't support cardbus(i don't think) so im kinda stuck looking for compatable pc cards, anybody know of any really cheap pc cards that work???
please help
