Topic: hostnames + remote web server

Hi everybody.

I have a web server on a remote machine. The IP address changes occasionally, but not frequently, and publishing it's address to the outside world is handled by my ISP. What I'd like to do is have my nameserver go to an external nameserver to resolve the web server's address.

I've tried removing www from the list of hostnames, but I then get an "Unknown hostname or address" error.

Can I configure the nameserver to go to an external source to resolve an address on my own domain?

I'm using e-smith 5.6
