Making i-bay public (via http/ftp) disables write access via
« on: October 06, 2003, 02:43:30 AM »
Whenever I set up an i-bay, I can read and write to it when I mount it as a volume on my Mac  desktop via AFP file-sharing.

If I then allow public access for that i-bay, when I subsequently mount it, it mounts as a read-only volume, whatever user I access it as. In addition, although the volume I mount should now contain the http/files/cgi-bin folders, it doesn't (it only shows the contents of the files folder).

I'm not sure what's happening, but careful study of the manual indicates that this is not what should happen.

Are there any templates worth reloading to see if that will fix this?

Thanks,

Daniele
