Hi

What I have been experencing is that from the Mac, I can copy to, and delete from e-smith.

BUT

If I copy from mac to e-smith, then off onto a microsoft client, then back to e-smith, the user on the mac, who first created the file, no longer has the rights to delete, copy move etc the file.

Could you please log into the root account on the console and find the problematic files in /home/e-smith/files/ibays and do an ls -l?  Can you post the user, group and permissions information for the files at the various stages (mac to e-smith, then from MS to e-smith)?
