I can access Mysql from any windows computer inside my network, but connection is refused from my home computer...
How can i manage to do it?, I have SME 6.0b3

upps sorry maybe i didn't explain it...
What i need is giving MySql access to a partner website allocated outside my local intranet... inside our network we can access from one server to the e-smith mysql but if i put the server at the other office it fails

when u connectr 2 the mysql dbase
do u use the ip adres of ur server or ur domain?

it doesn't work neither with the ip nor the domain name. in the same network i connect using both local name or local ip

When you instal phpmyadmin (e-smith-phpmyadmin-2.5.0-5dmc.noarch.rpm from contribs.org) it quite clearly says
"To access the MySQL functions via a web interface
you will have to access it via SSL in your web browser.
For example:
https://192.168.1.1/phpmyadmin
"
I just did it and connected using
https://mydomain/phpmyadmin
I also tried establishing a VPN connection, and then in a browser entered an IP style URL (as above)
https://192.168.1.1/phpmyadmin
Then
Enter your admin username and password
Voila, you have phpmyadmin

Emm... I can Acess By PhpMyAdmin. But i need to connect a remote php server to my mysql server in e-smith

Connect those two server using VPN. Remote server will threaten as local one.
