I have installed Gallery v1.4-pl2 directly into an ibay on SME 5.6 U5.
Everything works fine except I am unable to upload any movie files larger than about 1 meg. I can upload smaller (less than 1 Meg) .wmv and .mpg files and they work properly. I have not tried to upload any picture files larger than 1 meg (because I don't have any) but I'm pretty sure it won't work.
I have read all the manuals and FAQ's and changed the settings in PHP per Gallery's instructions as follows:
max_execution_time = 2400
memory_limit = 128M
post_max_size = 128M
upload_max_filesize = 50M
I have also adjusted the .htaccess, add_photo.php and add_photos.php files as per instructed.
I have also searched this forum (all dates) but have not found anything else that might help.
Has anyone else got v1.4-pl2 working (or any version) and able to upload larger movie files?
If so, how was this accomplished?
