PHP 4.2.x on SME server
« on: November 03, 2003, 12:20:47 PM »
Can anyone tell me, please, if it's possible to have PHP v. 4.2.0 or later on an SME server v. 5.6? If not then is it possible to have it on v. 6beta3? And the most important thing-- how to install it (are there any rpms or do I have to compile it my self?).

I need that version of PHP in order to be able to run my new web page (it uses PostgreSql on another server and calls such functions like pg_query() and some other as well which are supported only by PHP 4.2.0 or later).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Arthur
