Snort NO logging of alerts on SME 6.0

Snort NO logging of alerts on SME 6.0

Have installed snort-2.0.4-1 on sme 6.0 since more than a week.
I don't see any logging or activity.

Is there a way to configure snort? Or is this not neccesary.

Anybody can help...
