Topic: VPN address scheme

I'm setting up a VPN between two existing networks using FreeSWAN.

These networks currently have the same internal I.P. scheme, i.e. 192.168.1.x. Will that create a conflict? If I block DHCP address ranges so that they don't overlap will that be OK?

Alternatively, if one office uses 192.168.1.x and the other uses 192.168.2.x what netmask should I use on each network?

Anything else I should worry about?
