Anyone report this bug to Mitel yet? *hint hint*

I wouldn't have noticed this if someone had not brought it to my attention.

Eduardo,

did you "Reload MySQL" under phpmyadmin after changing the password?

Hi Michael,

Just to be sure :-)

1)   I install the phpmyadmin contrib.
2)   I Correct the password.
3)   I restart the MySQL server.

But how do I know the correct password or where do I find it?

Best Regards

Denbert,

it's in the configuration database for SME.
To look it up you need to run at a command prompt:

/sbin/e-smith/config show horde

and you should see a result like this:
horde=service
    DbPassword=Gg^dKLdtj
    access=SSL
    imp=installed
    status=enabled

This "DBPassword" is the one that you want to use to update via phpadmin.

Michael

Hi Michael,

Just installed the phpmyadmin and entered the site https://myserver/phpmyadmin

This is a very complex site.

Where exactly do I make the changes?

Thanks in advance, as I’m a newbie.

If you are trying to learn how to use the phpMyadmin you may want to use the documentation links within the software or go to the site.

Hi Clint,

I’m NOT trying to learn anything about phpmyadmin.

Actually I hate it. I just want my webmail up and running as before the upgrade from 6.0beta3 to the “final” and buggy 6.0.

Anyone else with a suggestion for a fast solution?

Cheers

Denbert,
I you don't want to learn or deal with the bugs, you probably shouldn't use beta versions of any software on the first place.
Just find someone to fix and maintain it for you and happily use it.

Boris,

Please read my posting before answering.

There was nothing wrong with the beta version.

It was the final release witch fucked up my webmail after the upgrade.

I’ll solve the problem with a clean install.
