Topic: Upgrading PHP

Hi folks

I want (as opposed to need) to upgrade PHP and I've followed the guide here: http://www.leiinc.com/repository/Linux/Mitel_SME_Server/HowToGuides/sme56_imp-horde-php_upgrade.htm which is excellent and could not make the process easier and I'm up to the point of running the rpm.

However, before I launch in and just do it I need to make sure all my old PHP development remains intact. I know that upgrading should not effect anything to do with Apache really or in primary/html or anything to do with MySQL, but I can't afford for anything to get messed up in here.

I don't have any special php.ini configurations, its all default settings, I use my SME as a gateway and for web development purposes.

Is there any precautions I should take/consider that aren't mentioned in the above article?
