Topic: Migrating user email from 5.5 to 6.x

Me again....

Whether i go to 6.0b3 or 6.0final on my production servers will depend on the answers to my previous post, but my next question is this:

The IMAP server and mail file format has changed from 5.5 to 6.x, and I'd like to do a clean install of 6.x.

So how can i upgrade the mail format, and any other data files that might need upgrading? Has anyone done this, and found an easy method?

The format change is all automatic. You can either upgrade in place, or do a fresh install, then restore your 5.5 backup. I'd do the former.
