i have mail from windows working
from kmail i have a choice of sending mail from
1. smtp
i use server e-smith
my error is
sending failed
an SMTP error occured
command: RCPT
response 553 sorry that domain isn't in my list of allowed RCPTHOSTS (#5.7.1)
2. sendmail
mail to me@e-smith works
mail to me@isp.net fails
originally i got this

but after fooling around with linuxconf/sendmail
it disappears without a trace
any ideas for either method ?
