Topic: Backup file format?

Hi,

A question crossed my mind... what if I wanted to recover a file from a E-smith backup WITHOUT restoring everything?  Is there any way to open up the backup, and extract only the files that I want?

It's a uuencoded tarball. See /etc/e-smith/web/panels/manager/cgi-bin/backup
