Topic: Vgetty and inittab

I installed vgetty and made the appropriate entry in inittab (exactly the same in all regards as on my RHat 6.2 system).

Rebooted the computer and vgetty did not start!

Is there something weird going on with inittab? If so please could you tell me what I do about it?

Also has anyone had any luck with vgetty or other voicemail software on e-smith? Any suggestions?
