I have installed E-Smith 4.0 on an old PI - 133 ..
The connecting is fine for the first couple of times, then suddenly the connection fails .. the only way to then get the dial up working again is to reboot the machine ...
Also, when trying to fetch mail, if the server is not dialled up at the time, the connection either times out, or returns saying there is no new mail. However, if the modem is connected at the time, the mail gets delivered normally ..
I have checked the Modem / M/Board / Serial Ports (including switchout with other units) but the problem persists ..
Any Ideas ??
