I'm sure you can't.  Napster is a client/server program where it is a client and a server.  You'd have to port forward to your Napster box from the Internet in order to 'serve' on the Internet.

I haven't figured out how to get it to work with e-smith, but I do now that is possible to do. I used CoyoteLinux server (fit's on 1 floppy!) for a while and napster would work thru it without setting the proxy options in it (in napster), so it possible to have run behind a firewall. Now as mentioned before, napster does have an option to run thru a proxy, but I haven't been able to figure it out with e-smith yet. Maybe someone can help with setting up the proxy server?

Hey,
Solved the problem with napster .. I got a socks5 rpm file and installed it according to the instructions at this link
http://david.weekly.org/code/napster-proxy.php3 .... just scroll down to where he talks about setting up a UNIX socks proxy and follow the instructions and it'll work perfectly .. I've already tested it out ..

Hope this helps..
