Going through the /var/log/messages, I noticed that software raid is enabled in the kernel. Is anyone using the software raid features. I went through the SW RAID HOW-TO and most of the functionality appears overkill for my use. What I want to do is very simple: I just want to have the user&ibay data mirrored. I don't care whether boot or root is mirrored (It would be nice if possible, but it is not necessary). I realize that currently user&ibay are part of the root partition.
Most data is read-only, so write-performance penalties are acceptable.
Any help appreciated.
