E-smith Backup

Hey Charlie! Oh Gordon!
Please note the info from e-smith-manager.
It is showing 0 BYTES for backup. I have more than 300 meg stored in the e-smith admin directory, in addition to several web sites. I am sure there is a simple explanation. However, I would still like to hear it.
Thanks

The backup process will create a snapshot of your e-smith server and gateway configuration and files, and will download it to your computer via your web browser. If you perform a backup right now, the snapshot will be approximately 0 bytes in size.

Well, we proceeded with the backup. It produces a backup file of over 400meg.
So, the backup still works. However, the reported size is clearly in error.

I had the same experience. I was going to back up the server before installing the ssh and ssl mods and it showed that my backup would be o bytes in size. I went ahead and ran it and it was 575 megs (which is about what it should be.) I havent tried restoring (since the mods worked perfectly-thanks Charlie  and Dan Brown for the great documentation)
My question is -is it a good backup if i have to restore from it?

Just a confirmation that the restore works just fine. The problem may be in the mathematics routine.
