What's wrong is that there is a message in your mailbox which is not in the prescribed format (it contains at least one bare line feed), and the mail server on your e-smith server is refusing to accept it. But you knew that didn't you, because you looked up the URL that the error message told you to look at. Didn't you?

There are a number of ways that you can fix the problem. The quickest way for you to solve the problem might be for you to delete the offending message from the mailbox at the ISP, by connecting using a standard mail program such as Netscape Mail, and fetching and deleting that message, which may be the first message in your mailbox. If you do it this way, there is a danger that you will divert some other messages directly into your mail program. If your server isn't shared, this may not be a problem.

I think a permanent way to solve the problem would be to include the option "forcecr" in your fetchmail configuration file, as recommended in the smtplf.html document referenced above. See the documentation at http://www.e-smith.org/custom/ for instructions on creating custom templates.

In the meantime, I will add your problem report to our bug tracking database.

They only recommended that forcecr option is on......

fetchmail: Recent versions of fetchmail reportedly do the right thing. Make sure the forcecr option is on

the mail that is the problem comes from stockpicker.se mailinglist.....

So how do i edit the forcecr option ?
