e-smith 4.0 is based on RedHat 6.1, which is also available for the
Alpha. All of the e-smith modules in 4.0 are released as "noarch",
which means they should install happily on the Alpha version of Red
Hat.
We don't know of anyone who has done this, or who is working on it,
but it would not be a difficult thing to do. e-smith does not have any
plans to work on or support a version for an architecture other
than x86.
You could also install RedHat in the normal way and then add the
e-smith management modules. This would not give the stripped
installation e-smith provides, but would allow you to work with the
e-smith manager interface.
