Hi everyone:

First of all, congratullations, this is a great project. We live in Spain and want to translate at least part of the "web panel" to spanish. It seems this won't be easy because the scripts don't have a correct "programming" prepared for different languages. Can we change that and use some kind of "language table" where all the messages are stored?

Secondly, we want to downsize the general e-smith server to concentrate in the gateway functionallity. It is as easy as just removing the scripts os the "web panel" and the packages or there are some dependences between them?

Thanks for your help. Sorry for my english :)

That'd be great. Please join our developers mailing list and make yourself known there. That's where we discuss development plans and processes.  Send email to devinfo-subscribe@lists.e-smith.org.

We already have some development plans for internationalisation of the web interface, we would be delighted to have your assistance with the Spanish nationalisation.

The 4.1 release, which will be entering beta test soon, will allow you to eaily disable any unnecessary services. This should be enough for you to do what you want.
