Hi,
I updated my system 7.4 to 7.4 (???)
Now I can't join new clients to domain.
I looked it up on the bugtracker and found a closed ticket:
http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4829
My problem seems a bit different since the group memberships have not changed.
Is anyone else having such a problem?
Can anyone share some insight?

please don't report problems here
open a bug in bugzilla, thank you
-
Thank you Stefano, I'll open a new bug.
I still would like to hear from other users, since the person who opened a bug with the exact same problem 2 years ago never got a satisfactory answer, and it seems to be very common there.
Best Regards,

if any other user has/had such a problem the proper place where discuss is bugzilla
about the "very common", could you please explain, as I can't find any evidence of it?
thank you

Status: CLOSED DUPLICATE of bug 4829
Now, that was useless...
-
if it was closed (I see also NOTABUG) it means that you have the solution there or that it's not a SME's issue
did you follow all the steps?

Right! I have added contribs to the system and therefore it's not an SME issue.
I had SME with all the contribs working BEFORE I apply the updates!
did you follow all the steps?
Which steps?
Best,

Best,
The ones in
http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4829
which verify the diagnosis of the problem (comment #8), and the steps in comment #14 for restoring permissions on the web panel scripts.
-
Hi Charlie,
This is the thing, on #8 it returns everything as it should be, unlike the bug 4829 the permissions on the files are correct. And #14 does not resolve the problems, I guess because the permission on the files are correct.
Should I try creating another bug?
