Topic: Open-Reality Install please help.

I have been trying to install Open-Realty for a few days now and feel very lost. I am new to SME and Linux. SME " ROCKS". They say the program is supposed to be very easy to install? It is installed on a windows box under 2003 and sql, but I would like to set it up on SME. I see a lot of how to's from all the pros. I am in hopes that someone will help with a how to on this as I would love to pass on the howto to others. I have installed phpmyadmin and inported the data base. I can see the tables but ibay will not run index.php. Think I installed things wrong. I will load a fresh copy of sme 6.0.1 and phpmyadmin, thanks everyone for looking at this post. http://www.open-realty.org

I used there form last week and no luck. I use the open realty for a bunch of free listing stuff so most of the help were for work offers. Everyone was willing to help but for a price. Most of the people here, help each other and good things come of it. I was hoping that one of the form users had installed it on a SME box. I am very now at Linux and do not know how to do a lot of stuff, like VI edit. But because of the forms I have been able to replace my windows box and move to SME it is great. I am just learnig though and need help! I would love to set up a sight for new users to set up Anti-Virus, change php and kill sand box ect. To keep this great Linux the top of newbie's lists. But for now this is my problem I am stuck on. Thanks again.

Could not get files to up load, sandbox was a issue, could not stream photo and flash was to slow. I love sme but this was a issuse and no one knew how or wanted to help it seems. it may work on a mandrake load i was told by some. Thanks for you support. But it does work on a windows box. Sorry guy's I tried. Have started a log of all the issues and am in current of making a small first time user help page on updates and going to try and keep it current give more in a few weeks.....Don't worry still trying to get off the windows box's.......Thanks
