I have lost control of my server.  Some hacker keeps messing with it.  First, I couldn't add an ibay all of a sudden, now my httpd service won't start.  Any suggestions?

I reinstalled the e-smith software (4.0 final) after backing everything up (about 7 GB),
and it looks like I have to do it again.  Everything works fine for awhile, and then it just fails.  The guy is allowing me to have internet access, which is how I'm able to post this message.

Reluctant cheers!

If you have evidence of this, please report it in detail to security@e-smith.com.

Computer systems fail for many reasons, malicious tampering is only one of those reasons.

We take network security very seriously here. Please co-operate with us to investigate your problem. Do not post reports of suspected security violation to a public forum - it helps no-one.

See http://www.cert.org/ for additional security information, including incident reporting guidelines and advice for detecting and recovering from a network break-in.
