If all the RPM tells you is that it won't install, it's almost certainly corrupted. If you want to build the module yourself, your best bet (by far) is to set up a RedHat 7.0 machine--you can download RedHat 7.0 ISOs, or probably spend all of about $3 to get a copy from cheapbytes. Or you can get individual RPMs from rpmfind.net.
