Is there a possibility to add a FAX server to this (very good) concept?
What about to extend the new version with this functionality?

Hi there!

We've had several requests for fax server functionality.  We are considering HylaFax for this.

Incorporating a fax server is not in the development plan for the next version, but perhaps the version after that.  See the "future directions" section of our project web site at http://www.e-smith.org for more information on the development plan of the software.

We do know of someone who is considering installing HylaFax, an open source Fax server software package, on the e-smith platform.  We are interested in his experience in implementing it and using it.  If you decide to implement it yourself, please keep us posted as this is an important feature for us.

is running in small in medium companies for more than two year
without any problems.
