How to rebuild mirror
« on: July 25, 2002, 03:31:22 AM »
I have ask this question before but had no takers. What is the command line prompt to rebuild a mirror. In this case the slave. Both drives are IDE.  I purposefully broke the mirror by disconnection the slave to determine if mirroring was causing serious system slow down.
I assume the proper command is:
I am assuming it is: "mkraid /dev/md0" but I wanted to check to be sure. TIA
I can't afford to be wrong because this is on a production system.

Any help or reassurance would be appreciated.

Testing on a production system isn't really a great idea, but this document might have some useful information for you:
