Topic: Adding support for Promise FastTrak100 RAID controller?

I'm trying to install e-smith onto a RAID5 array on a Promise FastTrak100 IDE RAID controller, but the controller/volume is not recognised by e-smith.
I've downloaded a Linux Beta "driver" FT.O, but don't know how to "apply it" to a boot diskette and are looking for help to do this. If someone out there has experience in this regard, I'd be most grateful receiving advise/directions.
