Sorting pop3 mail with aliases...
« on: May 21, 2001, 08:43:42 PM »
hello,

after multiple try's i still haven't figured out how to sort my mail from a pop3 account at my ISP to the correct users in e-smith

situation :

my isp : pandora.be
i don't have any domain name , but i registered (free) : anner.shacknet.nu and changed my e-smith domain name to that...

when now i let e-smith collect my pop3 mail at my mailbox with multi-drop to sort(which consist of 1 adress with 5 aliases : anner.tiete@pandora.be tet@pandora.be => to account "anner" , jacques.tiete@pandora.be => to account "pa" , jelmer.tiete@pandora.be boskonijn@pandora.be => to account "jelmer") e-smith picks the mail up, but isn't capable of sorting them out, he puts them all in admin account...
 like this :

Return-Path:

you need an X-delivered-to header inserted into your e-mail by your isp
then put that header into the emailretrieval panel and sort on it

refer to the manual
good luck you'll need it
