Win2k and WinXP Pro not able to join SME Domain

Win2k and WinXP Pro not able to join SME Domain

Hi,

I have installed a SME 5.1.2 box, win2k box and a winXP Pro box. I try to use the win2k and xp box to join the sme domain server. I not able to joined the domain, the system show me this message "Access is denied".

Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem?

try loggin in your computer as administrator, then
Goto
Regedit
>Local Machine
    >System
        >Current Control Set
             >Services
   >Net logon
                >Parameters
                >requiresignorseal=0   (change from 1 to 0.)

may fix it.

I have changed the registry setting to :
requiresignorseal = 0
requirestrongkey = 0

But it still prompt me the same message.

check  /etc/group file for user access permissions maybe.

I've successfully tried to join WinXP machines to 5.6 not 5.1.2 but the same instructions might help. Read this thread:
