Oh, one thing I forgot to mention:
although the IP traffic matrix does show what computers have been talking to other computers, and how much traffic was sent, it only does it for the local subnet. I want to know how much traffic was sent between the external internet (my e-smith server is a dialup gateway for several pc's in my subnet) and the individual pc's. ie, how much traffic was sent between pc1 in my subnet and anything on the external internet connection within the last week....for example.
The matrix in IP Traffic doesn't really show me that...although I would suppose that it would show me how much traffic was sent between the pc and the e-smith gateway. But this isn't really useful since the e-smith gateway is used for other things too, including file serving on the local intranet.
I only want to know how to do it for internet usage accounting.
