I wish i could help, but my linux skills are not enough...so some suggestions for those skilled enough.

1. APT for rpm intergration with SME, so many benifits, i dont need to list them all here.

2. Services page, like the one in clarkconnect/webmin to control runnning services

3. Intergration of Samba3 - connect to active directory and other settings available from the server-manager.

LOVE to see any of the above in SME soon.
