So people could upload even 30 or 40 meg files to me
under SME 5.5 I was using a free program called Soupermail at
http://soupermail.sourceforge.netThis worked well for last year but I had a drive failure on the server. Decided to restore the backup and upgrade to 6.0.1 at the same time. Now unfortunately I find I can't get this upload, mailout, pdf creation multipurpose program to work. Experimenting at home with 5.6 it seems to still work but I hate to have to re-do the install again to 5.6 .
The program requires mimelite which they have a link to at the web site. This installs no problem in the cgi directory of the primary ibay.
When trying to run Souperfinder.html which runs a perl script for configuration however I get a Internal Server Error. And if I try using my previous Soupermail.pl file I also get the Internal Server Error.
It seems to me this is probably the same sort of problem as when trying to run phprojekt from an IBay and it won't allow uploading files. Another problem I would like an aswer to.
I assume I need to change a security setting but am lost if someone has a suggestion.
Alternatively if not this program does anyone have recommendations for a upload program that sends the file to email and can handle large files. I find this extremely convenient as a way to deal with the files and knowing they have arrived. Most customers I deal with have no idea about FTP. and many ISPs limit email ingoing and outgoing to 5 megs so this has been the answer for me.
If I can get Soupermail working with 6 I will attempt document setup a bit better in case others desire a upload program.
