X-RCPT-TO: in email header
« on: February 11, 2004, 06:36:47 PM »
When I get my multidrop email through SME 6.0 server, it has an added header of "X-RCPT-TO:". If I just get my email direct from my ISP POP3 box using outlook, it doesnt have this header. Is SME server adding this header itself? If so where?

Can you use the sort by filter in server-manager to sort by more than one custom header field? For example, sort by "X-RCPT-TO:" and "TO:/CC:/BCC:" etc.

I know there are lots of problems with a multidrop service, but understanding where the X-RCPT-To gets added and what gets done with it would be a step towards addressing this.

Thanks for any help.

I also have AMAVIS/CLAMAV and Spamassassin, using custom procmail scripts if that makes any difference.
