Well I have VPN in bound working very well and I am very happy with this,.. but it would be nice to be able to VPN on demand to my workplace, but I have no idea how to do this. Although i can setup VPN on the clients so that they can connect, it would be nicer if it would auto dial from the server.

I am running SME 5.5

Toady,

It sounds like your looking for a site to site IPSEC VPN.  Add ons are available for SME, but you have to make sure you have the right rpms for your version of SME.  I personally use IPCop and linksys VPN router/firewalls as IPSEC endpoints to a central office.

Site to site IPSEC VPN is better than multiple PPTP connections from site A to B for simplicity.  I have found SME has issues holding more than 1 PPTP connection from one site to the same remote site.
