My experience:
Fresh install of 6.01-01 with restore from desktop of the user accounts and files. Intalled dungog-proftpd-chroot-0.1-3.noarch.rpm
> rpm -Uvh dungog-proftpd-chroot-0.1-3.noarch.rpm
....and had pages upon pages of errors.
Fired up server-manager and there was the nice Dungog.net section and the panel. However, no amount of changes in the panel chrooted the users at all. Everyone still had access back to /home/e-smith/files
So, uninstalled it:
> rpm -e dungog-proftpd-chroot
Then installed the earlier version (which works gloriously well on the 5.6U6 installation):
> rpm -Uvh dungog-proftpd-chroot-0.1-2.noarch.rpm
Preparing... ########################################### [100%]
1:dungog-proftpd-chroot ########################################### [100%]
[root@SERVER_NAME chroot]#
As you can see, not a single error.
Fired up the server-manager. Down the bottom is a section titled 'Unknown' with 'dungog-proftpchroot' listed. The usual panel is there and upon testing it worked as perfectly as it did with 5.6U6. All users chrooted to where I wanted them.
Bliss.
So, I have to suggest that the new 6.01-01 is NOT compatible with dungog-proftpd-chroot-0.1-3.noarch.rpm
However, dungog-proftpd-chroot-0.1-3.noarch.rpm may be compatible with earlier v6.x series releases. (I don't know as I've only just moved to 6.01-01 from 5.6U6).
