Topic: I need to turn off dyndns.update

I need to turn off the dyndns updating on sme 6.01 but when I go through the config screens the option is no longer there. The problem is that every Saturday night it sets dyndns to the wrong ip address. i think this has happened since I put it behind a firewall/ router and changed it to server only.

Go to the /etc directory on your server
Inside it there should be:
cron.d
cron.daily
cron.hourly
cron.monthly
cron.weekly

One of these will probably contain a file called:

refresh-ddns

Either delete this file if you never want to use it again, or at the least move it out of that directory and put it somewhere else.
