Hello,
I was looking at the logs on my system and I have no logs from any past flexbackup backups. The only log present is the one from the current backup. Is this the way is should be? I thought past versions of SME logged the flexbackup sessions? I could be very wrong of course. If that is the case, then I'll call it good and go on. I am asking because I was looking for some type of way to be able to query the backup log, choose a file or files from the list, then use Darrel May's advanced backup/restore contrib to restore selective files. By default verbose is turned off in flexbackup, but if you enable verbose, then the log shows all of the files that were incluced in the backup set. It's not a pretty solution, but something that should work. I could use flexbackup -list and pipe that output to a file, but it takes quite a while for this to run on a 20GB backup.
Thanks,
JB
