Topic: backing up question

Hello,

   I have a couple of questions on backing up es.

1. what kind of tape drive do I need that will work with es?

2. if I back up to desktop what does it backup?

3. what would I need to Prepare for distory recovery if my          server dies. compair to desktop backup or tape backup.
   I am not sure watch one to use?

   I would like to backup all the settings, data, user, ect...    and able to restore it like it was working.

4. can this be done ?
