Topic: Email & Archiving Problems

Hi,

Dont know if anyone else has this problem or found this but when someone sends a email to more than one person with an attachemnt out of the say 4 always 1 person dont get the attachment but they do get the email message!

This has happend twice now to different people with differnt computers and I cant seem to locate whats going on?

Is this a possible reason that the logging is the result of this?

This is the same person sending the attachments from outside the company!

I have checked logs and nothing appear there, so has anyone else had this?

Yes, some users reported when sending mail to more than 4 persons with any attachment, 1 person does not get the attachment. Only sending internal. Have not found a reason or a solution or a pattern which person does not get the attachement.

So this is to do with the archiving but this only is a problem if someone outside the company is sending where as internal it does not matter?!

I'm using Charlie's Mailfront contrib, would this a best brought up in the bugs section ? or maybe dev info?

I just have the probs for internal mails/attachments but i don't use Charlie Brady's mailfront rules.

They don't want to have "contrib" stuff in the bugtracker. Best to directly report the contrib's author.
