Topic: Problems with gettig DHCP working on SME Server 6.0.1

Today my server started behvaing badly. DHCP has stoped working. When I use the DHCP manager in the server console I get the following error:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, admin and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

what are you trying to do?  If you are trying to turn on dhcp, reconfigure the server to be the dhcp server for your lan.

I have been using DHCP on my LAN and just the other day it stoped working. The error messages inserted in my original topic is what I now get when I try to do anything DHCP-related on my server. It be to turn off DHCP or turn it on.

.. check in /var/log/dhcpd for the current log and see if there are any clues there.

Have you loaded or upgraded any contribs recently?

Try reloading the DHCP manager module (not a standard item - either you added it or you got it as part of the custom iso).

What is the problem?

You've installed a newer and incompatible DHCP server. You may also have some other problems due to installing incompatible versions of various problems - I don't think the "Internal Server Error" has anything to do with incompatible dhcp server versions, so you must have broken something else as well. Check /var/log/httpd/admin_error_log.
