Please can as many people as possible fill the thread with positive comments and support for the Dev Leaders as kbensch and myself have done. Its times like this they just need our moral support to know all there hard work is not wasted. Yes there are two sides to every coin but let’s leave that up to core group involved to find the balance. So PLEASE support this thread and support the Dev Leaders so they can resolve their differences and bring positive common ground back to the Dev group which as always will flow back to the community and get us all going forward as one again. This really can be achieved if we all work together. To every one out there PLEASE help those that have help us so much over the years.

Wow... I have to say I'm really impressed to see such passion!

I know it can be hard sometimes, but I believe it helps to try and keep some perspective.
What is it that inspires such feelings about SME?

I believe that, first and formost, it's the distro itself;
polished by years of hard work and clever development, and by thousands of people actually using it to solve real problems.

Then second, it's each other, the forums, the help when you're stuck, the community.

Whatever happens with disputes, and personalities, with organizations, websites, and structure, I don't believe these two things are going away any time soon. To see SME inspire all this passion makes me feel like it will be a very long time before that happens.

Things may seem "up in the air" for a while, but I believe we'll be in good shape in short order. All we need to do is show up, and help when we can.
