Can anyone offer me some advise on how to get a sourceforge account?

I have submitted a request for an account about 4 times over the last 10 days and have never recieved a response...

I want to participate in the devel group (from a feedback perspective), but I am not having much like with SF.

Cheers.

It's (AFAIK) completely automated. It sounds obvious, but are you positive that you are typing your email address correctly in the login request? If not, you'll never get the confirmation token.

Yeh, I don't know, email address is correct.  Only thing I can think of is that I used a password that I probably used before, and it says not to use a password already in use...

I submitted again with a new password and a new email, so will have to wait and see...

EDIT:  Now thats more like it.  I don't know what was going on there... Oh well.  I can now participate.

Are there any issues with Ver 7 apha 23 and EIPA motherboards.  I am trying a clean install and can not get it to work.  Starts to run and then the screen goes blank and nothing.

MD5 checksum is correct.

will not let me run mediacheck also.

Hy,

There is a bug in Centos 4.1 for joining a samba domain :

useradd can't play with PC01$  ($ is rejected)

so the script :
signal-envent machine-acount-create

fail.

Solution :
http://www.centos.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=1011&forum=28

update shadow-utils to an newer version.

bye

Nice work.

Thanks for the report, but please raise all bugs in the bug tracker here:

https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=96750&atid=615772

Edit: Since I am looking at a potentially related issue, I have linked this bug report here:

https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1234541&group_id=96750&atid=615772

However, please raise them directly in the bug tracker rather than the forums. It really helps to have bug reports in one place.

Thanks,

Gordon

tried upgrading to SME7 alpha 23 from a highly modded 6.0.1 on my other spare pc just to see how it would go and ... it failed badly
after it rebooted it kept giving loads of permission denied errors while it was attempting to start up all the daemons
so i just rebooted and done a clean install, and please to say it booted with no errors :)

cant be long before its finished the alpha stages :)

Already mentionned in bug 1232706 which is the right place for bug report.

Upgrades from 6.0 had a problem in that selinux was enabled and certain shared libraries were denied.  Should be fixed in a24 when it comes out.

is support for EPIA mini itx motherboards (i586) in this release.  I did see that shadow utilities has been updated but I have not figured out how to use zsync yet so don't want to do the whole download again.

Is anybody having success with zsync?

If so, what commands are you using.

William.
