Charlie or Gordon (if you are reading)

How would RBLLists be defined in sme 7.0 ?
The following does not work as obviously things have changed.
/sbin/e-smith/config setprop smtpfront-qmail RBLList sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org
/sbin/e-smith/expand-template /var/service/smtpfront-qmail/runenv
svc -t /service/smtpfront-qmail

Thanks

Maybe something like
/sbin/e-smith/config setprop smtpfront-qmail RBLList sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org
/sbin/e-smith/expand-template /var/service/qpsmtpd/runenv
svc -t /service/qpsmtpd

??

Quote from: "RayMitchell"

I have installed 7.0alpha9 on an old box, a PII 233MHz with 90MB RAM & 3.2Gb HDD, which is sufficient for testing, if not a speed demon.

That is an interesting test. It's surprising (but good to know) that it does install.

Look out for a bug that stops it rebooting the first time (until you apply the bug fix listed at sourceforge)

As far as I'm aware that only applies to upgrades - fresh installs boot OK. [And I think RedHat broke it, not me :-)]

I haven't had a chance to install yet, but I noticed two minor things about the downloadable files. First, the format for the md5sum has been changed from "checksum filename" to "checksum ../filename". I believe the first format is more common and slightly more convenient. Second, there are no .zsync files for the more recent isos. I've uploaded a .zsync for alpha10 to http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs/rvandenaker/testing/ for anyone interested.
I hope to have actually useful comments when I get around to installing the iso.

Hey yall,
sorry to be Dr Doom-n-Gloom, again! My md5 did not match for SME7alpha10. Could someone else varify if there is an issue with the iso.
Thanks
Joe

Hi,

Please test the SME Server 7.0 alpha 12 release any way you can. The devs would really appreciate your feedback.

If you do experience _any_ issue(s), please log them into the bugtracker right here: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=96750&atid=615772

The more people test, the more stable a beta will grow.

Get the ISO from any of the morrors listed here: http://smeserver.sourceforge.net/sme70/Downloads?v=ewe

Thanks!
